you ain't taking SHIT

the introduction was awkward, hell quite more than that
in the newspaper room i chronically sat
My crimson red face and fixated eyes
you really did stand out amongst other guys

The advent of these feelings i really can’t trace
there are just some things about you that make my heart race
Your smile, your wit, your humor, your ramblings
your ability to appreciate the smallest of things

The welcoming breeze on a warm golden day
The mist of the ocean on a late friday night
The desire to aimlessly drive far away
The way music and words make you fill with delight

And though you may not think so highly of you
and though you deem me as crazy, i truly do
This message for a while I hid away and just saved it
But I tell you this now, I want only just David

and now as this cheezy-ass poem comes to its end

i just wanted to know

would you be down to be boyfriends?

Anatoli Bugorski was a scientist in the soviet union in 1978. While Attempting to repair malfunctioning equipment in the moscow particle accelerator, bugorski recieved a shot of a proton beam against the left portion of his face. Recieving more than enough radiation exposure to kill an average human, Bugorski’s left portion of his face swoll up and paralyzed, leaving his left ear deaf, and leaving him to suffer chronic complex partial seizures and rare tonic-clonic seizures. Expected to die, Bugorski was immediatley sent to a Moscow clinic for the benefit of obtaining data for scientific research . As time progressed, layers of his skin would begin to peel off and reveal the pathway the particle beam took through his head. However, despite all of these circumstances , Bugowski surprisingly survived and was able to live out the rest of his days; graduating with a phD and developing a happy family. The soviet government used Bugorski as a poster boy of inspiration and hope to other soviet scientists that suffered from radiation exposure. For the rest of his life, bugorski’s right portion of his face would convey signs lf aging, while his left portion would remain permenently as it was on that day in 1978. He was forced to keep his incident a secret for a decade due to the soviet union’s desire to keep their country’s nuclear mishaps a secret from the world.
